Columbus Metropolitan Library presents a full day of free genealogy and history activities on Saturday, Oct. 5 at Main Library. Tony Burroughs, nationally known genealogist and author of Black Roots, will present four informative lectures:
· The nature of genealogy
· Identifying slave owners
· Military research
· Order out of chaos
Bring items from your own family history to be scanned into My Library, the library's digital history collection. Take a tour of the Local History & Genealogy space and Digital Lab at Main Library.
